Why

Mission
Deliver capability now through affordable and adaptable programs that pace the threat.
Vision
Outpace the threat with technical excellence, adaptability and rapid solutions that support a broad range of operating environments. At it's core - PEO IEW&S services the Army's military intelligence, command & control, and in-general non-kinetic capabilties. It is a deep player in the Army's ability to fight shooting wars and peace-time operations alike.

How

PEO IEW&S is an acquisition home to spanning portfolio of capability and services. Often relies on RS3 contract vehicle, direct awards, prime contract "usual suspects", and the full-spectrum of contract method options due to their co-located, on-site acquisition command. The C5ISR campus houses PEO IEW&S and is it's own contracting command. To usher in new capability - the Army's Test & Evaluation command is across the street from the C5ISR campus and reduces commnication and bureaucartic time waste in acquisition milestone decisions (compared to some other acquisition activities).
